DataLogix by Key Register provides Key Register customers the ability to import information for a specific vehicle into the Key Register system, as well as export user and prospect information. DataLogix makes vehicles already registered in the DMS system available on demand. As soon as a vehicle is logged into the DMS, the vehicle information can be imported into the Key Register system. This eliminates repetitive data entry for both the DMS and Key Register system.

Traditionally with batch export software, information is exported from a DMS to a Key Register system after business hours, meaning a vehicle that is registered in the DMS is not available until the Batch export is run that night. While this is a great tool for transferring mass information for multiple vehicles, in order to view a vehicle prior to the batch export, one had to manually import the information for a specific vehicle into the Key Register system.

DataLogix allows information for a vehicle to be imported from the DMS to the Key Register system in a matter of seconds. This is ideal in a scenario where a vehicle is logged in the DMS system, and a sales representative would like to demo it. Upon entering the stock number in the Key Register system, all of the information – such as make, model, year and VIN – can then be imported electronically in a matter of seconds, further streamlining the process.

The Key Register can send prospect information to the DMS or the dealership's Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system. User information can also imported or exported. Management can be notified of any inconsistencies – vehicles on one side but not the other or unauthorized changes to user access – at that time.

DataLogix is compatible with most DMS providers, allowing it to be implemented with a dealer's current DMS. Should a dealership change its DMS, DataLogix can also be reformatted.
